Megalochori, a traditional village which is virtually untouched by tourism, offers to its guests’ unique experiences of picturesque landscapes and tradition, with the traditional taverns and the imposing arch of the church.

This village is a historic wine-producing village, famous on the island for its sweeping vineyards down to the sea. For centuries the ancients grew their grapes and harvested them in this authentic Santorini village. Leaving the stables,  we ride through the cobble streets of the picturesque village, with the stone dwellings and white-washed walls. We ride to the heart of Megalochori, allowing you to experience the everyday life of the traditional village our stables is set in.

The ride continues through the village into the surrounding vineyards where you will experience the beauty of the pristine countryside and the precious vines, and your instructor-guide will tell you about the history. During the ride commemorative photos will be taken of you and your horse, capturing your memorable experiences at all the best places.
